With a plethora of islands to choose from, each boasting its unique charm, and an abundance of all-inclusive resorts catering to every need, it's essential to take the time to do ample research to ensure a seamless and enjoyable trip. 


We've inquired with other families with unique circumstances to shed light on this topic and provide invaluable insights to support your family's journey. The following are comments they’ve shared that are important to consider as you make your travel arrangements.


One family we spoke with reported, “Recently, our family journeyed to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, opting for the Iberostar Costa Dorado after thorough research and discussions with resort staff.


Upon arrival, our tired and hungry daughter struggled with dinner, given her limited diet. However, the staff went above and beyond, offering off-menu items to accommodate her needs. This level of care and flexibility persisted throughout our stay.”


Another family commented on the resort’s Star Camp being a “haven for kids”. From extensive buffet spreads to a snack area offering everything from crisp salads and piping hot entrees to fresh fruits and decadent desserts. Hunger was never an issue!”


One family commented on the resort’s diverse and accessible facilities. “There were ample clean restroom facilities located throughout the resort. Aside from the main pool, beach, bars, and game areas, there was a tranquil outdoor orchid garden that was inviting for moments of quiet relaxation. In addition, the area that was used for nightly entertainment served as a comfortable spot for reading, playing board games, etc.”
